The levelled ridge, the platforms at either end of it, the carved stones and the valley the day trips run out into — photographs of the places the tours listed here actually stop at.

The first group is the Main Plaza itself, seen from both ends and from the side of the ridge above the Valley of Oaxaca. Then the stone: the Danzantes slabs, the monumental staircase and the sunken court. After those come the entrance building and the site museum.

The last group is the valley the full-day trips run out into on the way home: the black clay fired at San Bartolo Coyotepec, the carved alebrijes, the stone mezcal mill and the mineral terraces at Hierve el Agua. Every place shown is on at least one itinerary here, and a Monte Alban guided tour is the shortest route to most of them.
